Who's Your Childhood Hero(es)?

Post by Rabbit on Tue Oct 05, 2010 7:39 pm

This is just something I did for fun because I had the thought of the 'heroes' I had in my head at the moment, and NO they cannot be an animal, and cannot be something that is not real. (For example, Yamato Ishida may be physically on TV, but he is not a real person with a Tsunomon...and blah.) The form for posting here is below, and I'll start. Please do not redo it with new people, or with any stupid joke people. Also, no lamp/surface descriptions, because a description of 'why?' is required for each person. Let's start now!

Code:

[b]Username:[/b]
[b]Childhood Hero 1:[/b]
[size=10](description)[/size]
[b]Childhood Hero 2:[/b]
[size=10](description)[/size]
[b]Childhood Hero 3:[/b]
[size=10](description)[/size]

(Here's mine! And it must be your answer AT THIS VERY MOMENT. If it's silly, it can be...but it has to be true at the moment.)
Childhood Hero 1: Jackie Evancho
(description) I simply adore listening to her singing! It's so angelic and as she puts it...fantabuloso. I look up to her since I'm singing classical crossover, popera, and opera right now, and although she's young, she's very talented and was the one that got me into those three things! Thank you so much! I wish I could see her in real life sometime, maybe at a show.
Childhood Hero 2: Sarah Brightman
(description) Another...CC/Popera/opera singer. Another person I listen to just to hear the soft rolling angelic voice(although she has better articulation and strength in her singing because of age) just like Jackie Evancho. Someone getting me into it, and I like to sing with her on YouTube to work on my singing, since I don't have any programs or anything. I learn alone without any physical help.
Childhood Hero 3: Andrea Bocelli
(description) And at last...another CC, Popera, and opera singer again. I'm really into it, and all these famous professionals are childhood heroes! But he is much better than both Sarah and Jackie, but is forgotten since Jackie is the newest most popular. I like him because he is also someone that got me more into the three kinds of music and I hope to be as good if not better than all of them!

Childhood Hero 1: MASASHI KISHIMOTO
(description) Masashi Kishimoto is, and always will be, an idol of mine. He's the writer of the most-read manga in the world, A.K.A, Naruto. I like how his drawings really capture the essence of actions. I love drawing, and I wish to one day become as dedicated at it is him.
Childhood Hero 2: Adam & Jamie.
(description) If you have no idea who these people are, then go poke a duck. THEY ARE THE AWESOME MYTH BUSTERS, SILLY-WILLY! These guys are just awesome, I mean they're good at science, aaaand they use that skill to make a brilliant TV show. I mean, Myth Busters is actually interesting compared to some of the other shows pn Discovery Channel. I love science, so being a myth buster would be awesome.
Childhood Hero 3: Ken Sugimori
(description) KEEEEN SUGIIIMORIIIII!!!! This guy is the guy who designs all the pokemon. As you all know, (or may not Happy Kitty), I like drawing fakemon as well. So of course this guy is my idol! I mean, all the pokemon he design look awesome! They're just like tiny animals, and almost none of them are humanoid making them unique in a way. What would this world be without Ken Sugimori?

(Hate Naruto but okay xD)
I don't watch Mythbusters that much but the only times I have watched it, I loved it Happy
xD I bet he could draw Digimon well. Is he better with simplicity or things like....MetalSeaDramon, MegiDramon, and WarGreymon?

Myth Busters is one of the ultimates. I mean, it teaches science, yet it's very entertaining.

Sugimori is awesome at drawing. I mean, all the pokemon he draws aren't very complicated, yet they look good. They all look natural too. I mean, they don't have to have a lot of decorations and designs, they just look... good. Happy Kitty

*Waits for Wolfbane to post here so I can find out her idols*
Happy Kitty

EDIT: Hey, can I post another one? I feel like posting moar peoplez C:<

And also, you can't post more people unless you identify this is an answer that should not be counted as a childhood hero of yours.

Childhood Hero 1: Okay, this is REALLY cheesy, but my Mother Happy Kitty
(description) Well, shes AWESOME! Shes always really calm, and knows hoe to keep her cool under stressful situations. She knows how deal with things and take complete control over a situation in a matter of seconds, I kid you not! Shes good at what she does, and puts her heart and soul into everything she does, from training her staff, to writing programs, to having fun with me. We ALWAYS hang out, and shes so funny Happy Kitty Though shes a bit stubborn, and very job-focused, she definitely ISN'T uptight, Shes actually extremely fun to be with! We talk, we joke around, we act RANDOM all the time! I quote from our conversation a few days ago: "Oprah [Winfrey] is her own food group" she says. Don't even ask about what the original convo was about, because it was long and I don't remember the whole thing xD
We have a really good relationship with each other: We hang out, talk and know each other as best friends, but respect each other like a mother-daughter should. I'm usually asked if I'm adopted, because my hair, eyes and skin isn't the same as my mothers. Shes really white, I'm a tan color (I'm Chilean, from my dads side). She has blond hair, I have brown, she has green-ish-blue eyes, I have dark brown. BUT, if you compare us, we look SO similar: I have the same lips and nose, same cheekbones, I even have my great grandmother's body-shape/build!
(BTW, I'm German, Chilean, Scottish and Canadian)
We can always relate to each other, and know what each other means when we express our feelings about whatever to each other. We're usually 'on the same page', and we have a LOT or inside-jokes Kitty

Childhood Hero 2: I want to say Jesus, but I'm not sure if that'll turn this into a Religious Debate or something.
(description) I'm Christian, Jesus is our God Happy Kitty Also, I found a book called "Look, its JESUS!" and its about pictures of things that look like Jesus, Example: Jesus' face burnt into toast, or (my personal favorite) 'Cheesus' A.K.A a cheeto shaped like Jesus xDDDD
Childhood Hero 3: This isn't a specific person, but a big influence on my life: Wolves
(description) I love wolves, they are my favorite animal! Their behaviors are fascinating, their ways of life are interesting, and they simply inspire me beyond anything! I think I'm very wolf-like, since people have described me like that X3
Wolf howls are enchanting for me to hear, it sounds dreamy and supernatural, dangerous but beautiful and enticing! Wolves inspire me to write, draw, sing, etc. Happy Kitty
